You're right) When Gandalf and Bilbo met for the first time, he was without the sword.
But as these clothes still differ from the description in the book and the movie, then I think it can be assumed that he had his sword, too :)) not so wonderful as Glamdring, of course)

Awesome work, I love the detail on his clothing, I couldīve lived without the bell at the tip of the hat, but that is just personal taste...

In my works the bells on the hats and clothes is that sort of a trade-mark or signature)I madly love them =))))
