I like your interpretation of the Tarot with a Tolkien theme. Your artwork is certainly great! But: The Hanged Man is a sacrificial Card, where the Hero undergoes this ordeal voluntarily (actively): The Position of the legs like a "4" upside down is a symbol of this, quite well used by Waite/Coleman-Smith in their Tarot. It is the inverted "The Tree" Asana (position) of Yoga and a shamanic Trance position also, and it is used in masonic ritual (3rd degree) in a similar fashion.
Perhaps you can think about a Card number 12 with this symbolism intact ?? This is always a problem with Tarot artwork, some decks are so fantastic to the eye, but symbolically all wrong, a real pity.
I am aware of the traditional symbols, thank you. This deck is initially not for use, I intentionally chose not to do full adaptation to the Tarot symbolism. I like it like this. Besides, there are different Tarot practices, and not all of them are fixated on such a thorough symbol representation. Nevertheless, thank you for your opinion.
